This painting, made in March 2022, is a modern study of a series of screen prints made in 1967 by Andy Warhol. Warhol's many Marilyn Series originals have been exhibited around the world, in galleries including MOMA, New York and the Tate Modern, London. This is a large painting, painted at the same size as Warhol's original screen prints.
