Saturday 2nd of November 2024 - I'm currently spending more time in the studio, working on some new portraits.
26th November, 2023 - Bob Marley Portrait. This painting has been submitted to BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art for the Baltic Open Submission in association with Fenwick, a major open-call exhibition due to open at Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art in March 2024.
1st November, 2023 - Hang Gliding and Paragliding Paintings. These paintings were both sold at auction to raise funds for the NHPC.
22nd December, 2022 - Rod Stewart Portrait. This painting is acrylic on paper.
This will be available to buy after it's been printed.
21st December 2022 - Following a chance conversation with Steven Barlow, I've looked as his website; it's excellent! It is very carefully constructed, well written and looks very professional. I love his artwork! I really like his Lauren Mayberry portrait, Get Carter and Boba Fett.
It's interesting that he's using alcohol based markers, a medium that I've not tried yet. His website is well worth a visit.

14th December, 2022 - Amanda Souza is a model from Brazil. I've painted her portrait, with permission, from a photograph taken by Farol 106 and kindly shared on Unsplash. The painting is mixed media on paper.
I think having (almost) the whole body in the picture, sets the portrait in an interesting context. It's a scene that was brightly lit with sunlight, which cast interesting shadows, that give the image depth. The relaxed pose of the arm and left hand communicates something calming about the sitter.
This will be available to buy after it's been printed.
6th October 2022 - I've been in contact with The Tin Shed art studio, and received some useful advice from them.
The Tin Shed has been showcasing northern art and design since 2013.
Their high quality events regularly pop-up at incredible venues across the North of England and Scottish Borders, bringing together the best of Northern and Scottish artists and makers. Their aim is to help make art and design more accessible.
August & September 2022 - I have been in contact with a range of local councils regarding street trading. The Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1982 part 3, schedule 4 allows Local Authorities to prohibit, licence or consent streets within their controlled district for the purposes of regulating street trading.
Unfortunately, there appears to be a resistance against street trading in this region, so I am currently looking at alternative solutions.
July 2022 - Three different Street Artist .UK displays were exhibited around Tyneside during this summer month of July.
8th July 2022 - The new Street Artist .UK business cards have now been printed.
6th July 2022 - Card payments are now accepted using the PayPal Zettle card reader.

15th June 2022 - Google ranks Robin Broad, artist higher than Banksy! This is down to good website coding and SEO. A great result! :)
8th June 2022 - https://www.streetartist.uk/ goes live.
